Level 1 & Level 2 Chimney Inspections in Philadelphia & Surrounding Counties

A chimney inspection is the foundation of chimney safety. Whether you are preparing for heating season, buying or selling a home, or dealing with a potential chimney problem, a professional inspection gives you a clear, accurate picture of your chimney's condition. StoneGuard performs thorough Level 1 and Level 2 inspections in compliance with NFPA 211 standards, serving Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

Level 1 vs. Level 2 Inspection - What's the Difference?

•    Level 1: Visual inspection of all accessible areas of the chimney interior and exterior. Recommended for chimneys in regular use with no known issues or changes.
•    Level 2: Full Level 1 inspection plus a video camera scan of the entire flue interior. Required when buying or selling a home, after a chimney fire, after a seismic event, or when changing fuel type or appliances.
•    Both levels include a written report of findings, condition ratings, and repair recommendations.
•    No upselling or pressure - we tell you what we find, clearly and honestly.
